Let us Give Homage to our World Oceans when we travel. The oceans are wide and vast and we know very little about them. The World Oceans are interconnected and take up almost 71% of the earths surface. The oceans have a total volume of 1.332 billion cubic kilometers. Let us take a look at what the World Oceans give us.
What the World Oceans Give US
Besides its beauty the ocean feeds millions of people. We must protect the World Oceans from over fishing, pollution, and removal of the mangroves. For those of us that are scuba divers we know that coral is a living thing and fish are precious. Some snorkelers still need some education on the importance of our ocean reefs. It is up to everyone of us including this 1Adventure Traveler to take a stand to educate and protect our World Oceans.
Protect Our World Oceans
You ask how can we help protect our World Oceans when we travel. It is very easy by not using plastic disposable bottles, take a re-useable water bottle. Cut the plastic ring around soda cans. Do not use plastic bags, substitute with cloth bags. Also please do not walk on the living coral reef and throw trash in the ocean. If we do these small things it would help save our oceans.
Here is a gallery of some of the beautiful coral and fish I’ve seen while scuba diving the world.
