Sometimes the best trips are where you just venture out, do some exploring and take an Urban Adventure Seoul . Just go for a walk and see where it takes you. Don’t forget to stop at a local restaurant for some authentic food in your travels.

Ways to start your Urban Adventure Seoul …

That’s just what I did this last weekend in Seoul.  Ate some tasty cuisine at one of our favorite Chinese Restaurant and then started my Urban Adventure Seoul.

Okay, it wasn’t the local cuisine but was a close second.  All I did was start walking up and down the streets and got myself lost.

Immerse Yourself in the Culture…

I ended up surrounded by clothing and shoe stores, food vendors, vendors that sold trinkets, lots of people and so much more everywhere I looked.

More senses awaken with laughter, people talking, motorcycles driving down the sidewalk, vendors calling people to buy their food and so much merchandise.

The smells of cooked fish, pastries, fresh fruit all beckoning everyone to stop and try their treats.  Ah, what fun, I have immersed myself in the culture.

This Urban Adventure Seoul had my head spinning from all these interesting shops.   I was also trying to learn new techniques with my camera on how to take cameo photos.

This wasn’t going well since my husband was giving me the photography advice. My ears just want to close and I don’t want to  hear a thing.  Like a cartoon where all you hear is wa, wa, wa, wa, wa.

I’m still a bit shy taking cameo photos since I don’t like people to tell me no. So, I get the camera ready, snap the shot all before they see me. Right, doesn’t always work that way.

A few times I heard the word no and couldn’t shrug the shoulders like I didn’t understand, since more often than not it was in English. Darn.

Either way I still gave it a go on my Urban Adventure Seoul and took a few photographs. The point being is “don’t be afraid to explore”.

You will meet wonderful people and see the most interesting things.   Step out of the box and don’t have a plan.  This was written on a wall of one of the stores that said “Life is Way too Short…buy yourself some Shoes”! Shoe shopping is what I wanted to do next.

I did find an authentic 51 yr Korean restaurant this weekend on my last day that served yummy Korean Cuisine. No English spoken but a picture menu is worth a thousand words. Also did find my fix for some Mexican food.  Authentic or not it was sure mighty tasty and took care of my craving.

Here are a few of the new places I discovered on this trip to Seoul captured on photographs.  I still have a lot of practice to do, but what fun i had taking cameo pictures.  Make sure to take the time out and go on your own Urban Adventure.
