This Expat’s favorite go to place is the “Man in the Moon” Irish Pub Gion, in Kyoto, Japan. This Pub is located in the famous Gion District that is a gem of a find.  I love to stop by before & after my Dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy the atmosphere & drinks.

Gion is the home of the Traditional Nightlife.  “Man in the Moon” Irish Pub Gion has a great atmosphere to have a drink & appetizer and soak in the culture.

Just take a walk up to the bar, order and pay for your drink then sit back and enjoy. Make sure to visit this 1 of 5 locations.
